MID WEEK CHALLENGE FINAL RESULTS/STANDINGS & POST SECTIONAL FINALS MATCHES
Firstly I would like to congratulate all competing clubs in the MWC, particularly considering that we have played 4 of the rounds in some unfavorable conditions and were not able to play 2 rounds due to major wet weather events. So the 6 round tournament became a 4 round tournament.
As you are fully aware we changed the format of the event following consultation with the Zone 9 delegates, to a more contemporary format modelled closely on some of the Premier Bowling events, with the introduction of two sets, power plays and other changes to create a faster pace of play. Of course we have received feedback at both ends of the spectrum, however overwhelming the changes have been well received and supported. We will of course reexamine all elements and any fine tuning that’s deemed positive before the next MWC.
Following yesterday’s round 6, all Semi and Final contenders have been confirmed following the MC verification processes. This has included confirmation of player eligibility, verification of scores etc, determining ladders and subsequently finalists.

GRADE C SEMI FINAL 1 – Belrose V Seaforth. Wednesday 6th April 2022 9:00am
GRADE C SEMI FINAL 2 – Mosman V Newport. Wednesday 6th April 2022 9:00am
GRADE C FINAL – Winner of Semi Final 1 V Winner of Semi Final 2. Wednesday 6th of April at 1.00pm
GRADE D FINAL – Avalon Beach V St Ives Wednesday 6th April 2022 1:00pm
